1955 T-bird off frame restored 292 rebuild with 1957 intake and new 4 barrel carb. Automatic Transmission rebuilt by Mitchell Transmission of Des Moines. Note: This car hasn't even been driven 100 miles since restoration. Has power steering, power brakes, power windows and power seats. All chrome replated. Original six volt system partially change to twelve volts for lights charging, starting and stereo. Windows, four-way seat and heater blower not changed to twelve volts. New tires and wire rim wheels. Comes with an original black canvas soft top with swing arms. It does not have a hard top, skirts, spare tire, jack or air ducts. Also, the frame has been changed. It needs a little more color, sanding and buffing. I would recommend that this bird be trailered home and pamper the break in period of the rebuilt engine and transmission. Data Plate states that the color should be black. This car is not totally complete, there are still some minor things to do. This is a 53 year old classic car, sold "as is" with no warranty. This car had a rusty floor that was completely cut out and replaced with a completely intact rust-free California floor with floor channel supports, inner and outer rockers as one entire piece. Very strong running 312 Y block with 1957 intake and new four-barrel carb. Three speed transmission without overdrive. Data plate states black with black/white interior. I thought golden rod yellow looked classy. It does turn heads. It comes with an after market soft top only. Does not have hard top, spare tire, jack, seat motor, nor air ducts. All chrome re-plated. Fifty-two year old classic sold “as is” no warranty. What you see in the pictures is what you get. So please ask questions.
